wondering about the death toll in death valley (3/11). traveling a short distance each day and still feeling exhausted probably because we are living in temporary rooms and are in and out of the car every day. this is us half way into march camping out in the desert. we’ve finally made it to california and it feels pretty unreal, like there wasn’t too much between this and new york after all. right now i hear bros, i see stars, i am drinking miller high life in a tent wearing just my tights and a sweater. no cell service where we are. thinking that these kind of camp grounds are the kinds that will be established during the new world order. thinking i like it here.
